1. Acceptance of Terms & License
Welcome to Nodopa ("Application", "Service"), developed and operated by Biner Labs ("we", "us", "our").
By downloading, installing, registering an account, or using the Nodopa mobile application or website, you ("User") agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service and End User License Agreement ("EULA"). If you do not agree to these terms, please do not download, install, or use our Services.
2. Non-Medical Disclaimer & Scope of Service
⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE — NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR MEDICAL OR CLINICAL CARE:
- Nodopa is strictly an educational, behavioral self-regulation, and habit tracking tool designed to assist with personal reflection and dopamine awareness.
- Nodopa is NOT a medical provider, mental health clinic, psychiatric service, or substitute for professional medical or psychological counseling.
- We do not make medical claims or guarantee 100% cure/recovery from compulsive addictions or clinical mental health disorders.
- If you are experiencing severe psychological distress, clinical depression, or thoughts of self-harm, please contact emergency medical services or a licensed mental health professional immediately.
3. Nodopa PRO Subscriptions & Billing Terms
Nodopa provides essential self-recovery tools for free, as well as optional advanced features under the Nodopa PRO subscription:
A. 7-Day Free Trial
Annual subscriptions may include a 7-day free trial. You may cancel at any time before the trial period concludes without being charged. If not canceled at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your account will be billed automatically for the annual plan ($59.99/year).
B. Auto-Renewable Subscriptions
All subscription tiers (Monthly at $9.99/month or Annual at $59.99/year) renew automatically unless auto-renew is disabled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing cycle. Renewal charges will be applied to your Apple ID or Google Play account.
C. Subscription Management & Cancellations
Payments and billing are processed directly through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. You can manage, modify, or cancel your subscription at any time via your device operating system settings (Apple ID > Subscriptions or Google Play > Payments & Subscriptions). Refund requests are governed by Apple and Google policies.
D. Restore Purchases
If you reinstall the app or switch devices, you can restore your active PRO membership at no additional cost by tapping "Restore Purchases" in the Profile or Upgrade screen.
4. Community Guidelines & User Conduct
Nodopa hosts global and regional peer support rooms to encourage mutual accountability. To ensure a safe, respectful environment:
- Zero Tolerance for Doxing & Privacy Violations: Do not disclose real names, phone numbers, social handles, or personal identifiers of other members.
- No Pornographic or Explicit Material: Community channels are intended for recovery; sharing sexual content, triggers, or explicit media is strictly prohibited.
- No Harassment, Bullying, or Hate Speech: Abusive behavior, discrimination, and threats will result in immediate suspension.
- No Spam or Commercial Advertising: Automated spam bots and unauthorized commercial promotions are banned.
Biner Labs reserves the right to moderate discussions, remove non-compliant content, and permanently terminate violating accounts without refund.
5. Intellectual Property & Limited License
All software code, user interface designs, logos, the 11-Stage Progression model, Aura artwork, Dopa AI cognitive algorithms, and brand assets are the exclusive intellectual property of Biner Labs. We grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license strictly for personal, non-commercial use.
6. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Biner Labs shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Application.
